Description
Via het DAS worden op rechtmatige, transparante en doelmatige wijze afvaltransportdiensten ingekocht. Midwaste is een coöperatieve vereniging van publieke afval- en reinigingsbedrijven die gezamenlijk optrekken in de transitie naar een circulaire economie. Met het DAS beoogt Midwaste een brede en diverse groep van gekwalificeerde ondernemingen toegang te bieden tot opdrachten voor het transport van afval- en grondstoffenstromen. Daarbij worden vraag en aanbod op een efficiënte wijze samengebracht, met ruimte voor zowel landelijke als regionale transporteurs. Binnen het DAS kunnen nadere opdrachten worden verstrekt voor uiteenlopende afvaltransportdiensten, waaronder het vervoer van huishoudelijke en bedrijfsafvalstromen, grondstoffen, recyclables en overige aan afvalbeheer gerelateerde transportdiensten. Het DAS wordt ingericht en beheerd overeenkomstig de Aanbestedingswet 2012 en valt onder de werkingssfeer van Richtlijn 2014/24/EU betreffende het plaatsen van overheidsopdrachten.
