Description
SURF regularly requires Managed Dark Fiber Connections, both to expand its core DWDM network and to add end-user sites to its access network. Within the scope of a Framework Agreement, SURF may request the following types of Dark Fiber Connections: • Between two specified SURFnetSURF Points of Presence; • Between an end-user site and a specific SURFnetSURF Point of Presence; • Between an end-user site and any one of several specific SURFnetSURF Points of Presence, allowing each Contractor to optimise its solution according to its existing fiber plant. Each of these types can be requested as a Point-to-point Connection or Redundant Connection.
