Description
NTNU intends to enter into a contract with Nerliens Meszansky AS for the delivery of CytoFelx S flow cytometer with 4 lasers, 13 detectors. Our MFC laboratory in NTNU has automation of upstream bioprocessing as the main goal, so any machine purchased to the lab must be able to operate automatically without manual sampling. This includes machines that originally were designed to operated manually by inserting a sample, or a cassette of samples into the machine. Our laboratory operates by automatically feeding samples from the bioreactors to the flow cytometer and receiving automatically the results through the network. The swiss company Oncyt biotechnology in Switzerland had developed an autosampler that can communicate with the API of the CytoFlex S of BC, feeding samples from the bioreactor directly to the flow cytometer, and receiving signals to operate the lasers and the detectors of the FC and receive back signals. We already possess the autosampler in our lab. Therefore, any vendor of FC that has at least 4 lasers at 13 detectors must also be able also to connect to the autosampler ONCYTE, both its software and its hardware, and receive microbial samples from the bioreactor…
