Description
The Contracting Authority proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a framework agreement for the provision of a craft registration system to include the design, build, support and enhancement of the system for the duration of the framework period established. The framework agreement will be established on foot of a competition for an initial contract for the delivery of a craft registration and management portal, deliverable within 6 months of award of the tender. An additional two years of technical and ancillary development support will be included in the initial contract. The initial contract will be awarded to the successful tenderer shortly after the formal establishment of the framework agreement. The new system will facilitate the: 1. Registration, of over 7,000 craft 2. Purchase, permits to moor a houseboat on a canal. 3. Distribution, of boat registration plates 4. Payments and refunds, via debit/credit card, standing order and on occasion cash. 5. Renewals, of all registrations and permits periodically as required. 6.
