Description
The Service provider shall provide the following deliverables, referred to as the Assignment: 1. SPECIFIC AREA OF WORK The main objective of this work is to contribute to the assessment of macro-economic and employment impacts of the scenarios developed in GEO-7. 2. KEY OBJECTIVES a. Perform model-based analysis on the impacts of 1 business-as-usual and two transformational pathways scenarios on macro-economic, employment and sectoral production indicators using the GEM-E3-FIT model b. Contribute to the drafting of the GEO-7 report, in particular in the Outlooks chapters, on areas focusing on economics, labor, and finance 3. DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES The Partner shall provide the following services, referred to as the work: Deliverables 1. Projections for at least the following scenarios: business-as-usual; business-as-usual with climate targets; Technology focused transformation pathways; Consumption focused transformation pathways. 2. Assessment of the macroeconomic implications of the above scenario accounting for the impacts of the business-as-usual and the two transformation pathways scenarios.
