Description
The current Industrial Development Agency (IDA) land holding in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork comprises c.164ha divided across multiple sites with the greater part of the lands located to the south of the proposed motorway route reservation. In addition, several assets in the area are in IDA ownership including the foul and surface water network which serves both the existing developments and the undeveloped land holdings. IDA Ireland wishes to appoint a consulting engineer to prepare an engineering led feasibility study re the future development of the IDA Landbank at Barnaheley/ Raheens East / Loughbeg, Co. Cork. The successful tenderer will carry out a capacity review of the existing surface and foul water network(s)/ pumping stations in the study area, the production of a hydraulic model for the Ringaskiddy Local Catchment and a suite of recommendations for the upgrade works were necessary to facilitate further development of the land bank (s). The review also must ensure that the inclusion of the storm and foul water pumping station must form part of the proposed upgrade(s) to the existing IDA Drainage Water Networks.
