Description
Finances are from the KfW Development Bank as the Lead Financing Institution, with Agence Française de Développement (AfD), Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), European Commission (EC), and European Investment Bank (EIB). Egyptian bidders must be registered with the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors for the construction and/or implementation of water and wastewater networks and treatment plants. They shall be classified as Grade 1. International bidders with the same classification mentioned above or the equivalent from their own country shall also be eligible to bid. A complete set of Bidding Documents is available for a price of EGP 40,000 (forty thousand Egyptian Pounds). There is no time limit for the purchase of Bidding documents up to the Bid submission date. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 6,000,000 EGP (six million Egyptian Pounds). It shall be valid for 162 days (i.e. 120 + 42 days).
