Description
ESB proposes to establish a qualification system under a negotiated procedure for the at scale EPC delivery of 110 kV, 220 kV and 400 kV HV Substations and Substation Programmes. It is envisaged that a significant number of DSO and TSO GIS Substations will be constructed during the period 2026 - 2035 and will be delivered via this procurement process as outlined in Section A Information Memorandum, attached to this publication. Substations procured under this Qualification System will include for a full end to end scope of delivery which may include in some cases site acquisition and achievement of planning permission on behalf of the Contracting Entity. The scope of substation projects under this Qualification System may include a requirement for the inclusion of additional technologies including but not limited to STATCOMS and series compensators.
