Description
ESB proposes to establish a Qualification System under a negotiated procedure for Subcontracted Maintenance of Commercial Vehicles and 40’ Semi-Trailers for ESB Networks Fleet in the Republic of Ireland. It is envisaged that the scope of the services to be procured under this Qualification System will be as outlined in the Section A Information Memorandum attached to this publication. ESB Fleet and Equipment manage over 2,000 light and heavy commercial vehicles including approx. 30 40' Tri-Axle Semi Trailers based at Ballycoolin Central Stores Dublin. The proposed tender enquiry will be divided into geographical Lots and tenderers will be able to indicate which services they wish to tender for in each Lot at RFT stage. Tenderers may tender for one or more Lots. It is estimated that up to 40 per cent of Vehicle and Equipment Repair and Maintenance work may be outsourced.
