Description

The proposed web system will provide a way to collect clinical imagery to capture patient interactions. The requirement is primarily for wound care surveillance of patients and the prevention of return visits to day-care post discharge. In an inpatient setting, clinical staff should be able to use a tablet (or any device with a camera or recording function) to take a picture of the wound and have it accessible for review by a consultant or specialist. The system should also be capable of sending an SMS message to a discharged patient with a link that allows them to take a picture of their own wound that gets automatically saved to their personal record for review by requesting clinician.
