Description
Detailed Design, Construction Administration and Project Handover of all scheme works, as approved or modified by An Coimisiún Pleanála. Approximately 2.0 km of new single carriageway mobility corridor extending from the R403 Clane Road to the R405 Hazelhatch Road, incorporating high quality active travel provision throughout. A new 66m long clear span bridge crossing of the River Liffey, designed in accordance with relevant Eurocodes and OPW requirements, with no in stream works required. Segregated footpaths and cycle facilities provided along the full length of the route, including: 2.0m wide one way cycle tracks and 2.0 m wide footpaths on both sides of the carriageway for the majority of the corridor; and a 3.0 m wide two way cycle track and footpath on constrained sections approaching Hazelhatch and Celbridge Train Station. New and upgraded junctions including signalised junctions at the R403 Clane Road, Newtown Road and R405 Hazelhatch Road, together with a priority junction at Simmonstown Manor Road and improvements to the Loughlinstown Road roundabout.
