Description
The CAWT PEACEPLUS Healthier Futures Project aims to implement a model focused on addressing the effects of unhealthy environments and factors that impact on overweight and obesity such as Physical Activity, Nutrition (Healthy Eating), and Health Behaviours, with the recognition that Health Literacy is integral to all three areas. This Procurement exercise and the subsequent Service to be commissioned will cover only the Northern Ireland delivery Lot Areas, which will be located within the boundaries of the Southern Health and Social Care Trust (SHSCT) and Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT). The Service will involve the delivery of Tier 1 Community-Based Early Intervention Support for Adults in the following areas: Increasing Physical Activity and reducing sedentary behaviour; Healthy Eating; and Behaviour Change.
