Description
Dublin City Council (DCC) is seeking competent persons/organisation to manage the pavilion, tennis courts and padel courts in Bushy Park as a community facility to promote and increase local participation in padel and tennis. The facilities consist of a pavilion which is used as a recreational facility for tennis and padel, four floodlit padel courts and eight double floodlit tennis courts. All of these facilities were refurbished/installed in the past 6 years and are to a high standard. Previous experience in managing similar facilities will be taken into account and assessment of the tenders received will result in the granting of a licence to an operator to manage the facility for initially for two years. However, Dublin City Council reserves the right not to proceed with the competition or not to grant a licence. Members of the public are currently able to access the courts from the pavilion on a “pay and play” basis. A percentage of all income will be sought from the operator as part of the management fee.
