Description
Swedavia har ett pågående utredningsarbete på flertalet flygplatser med avseende på PFAS. Utredningsarbetet följer naturvårdsverkets kvalitetsmanual och metodik för efterbehandling av förorenade områden. PFAS-utredningarna resulterar, i olika skeden, i behovet av riskreduktion. Detta kan innebära tillfälliga skyddsåtgärder, eller ex. permanenta reningsanläggningar. Umeå Airport har utfört ett antal olika utredningar på dagvatten, grundvatten och mark, och behovet av en tillfällig skyddsåtgärd för rening av dagvatten har konstaterats. Ett ganska omfattande utredningsarbete har skett inom ramen för den pågående PFAS-utredning som sker på flygplatsen. Detta omfattar perioder av flödesproportionell mätning och provtagning av PFAS, samt utredningar av mottagande recipient. En tidigare utförd åtgärdsutredning har även kompletterat undersökningar med fokus på att fastställa dimensionerande förutsättningar för en reningsanläggning. Projektet kommer att genomföras enl. Swedavias projektmodell och byggprocess. Förstudien är första steget i att realisera en reningsanläggning på Umeå Airport.
