Entreprenaden är etapp 2 av Örebro kommuns busskoncept, BRT (Bus Rapid transport) I entreprenaden ingår ombyggnation av befintlig gata, GC-bana, belysningsanläggning, signalanläggningar och grönytor. En ny busshållplats ska anläggas på Hedgatan, vid Smidesgatan. Entreprenaden innefattar också renovering av befintliga VA-anläggningar samt förnyelse av serviser. Sträckan är på Hertig Karls allé och Hedgatan mellan Ullavigatan och Hedbron, strax norr om Tackjärnsgatan, ca 1,3 km
