Description

Das Universitätsklinikum Düsseldorf (abgekürzt UKD) errichtet auf dem Campus der Heinrich-Heine-Universität (HHU) den Neubau eines Klinikgebäudes zur Aufnahme der Haut- und Augenklinik. Weiterhin werden in dem neuen Gebäude eine Klinik für Knochenmarktransplantationen (stationär und ambulant) sowie eine geriatrische Abteilung untergebracht. Der 5-geschossige Neubau in Stahlbetonbauweise mit einem Untergeschoss und Technikgeschoss hat oberirdisch keinen Anschluss an angrenzende Gebäude. Unterirdisch wird das Bauwerk an die automatische Warentransportanlage (AWT) sowie an diverse Medien über Kanäle angeschlossen.
