Ziel dieses Vergabeverfahrens ist der Abschluss eines Lizenzvertrags, welcher den Universitätsangehörigen den vollen Lesezugriff auf eine große Anzahl von medizinischen Fachzeitschriften einräumt (Read-Komponente) und ggf die Möglichkeit zur Open-Access-Publikation in einer großen Anzahl von medizinischen Fachzeitschriften eröffnet (Publish-Komponente).
