Description
The setup shall allow for the automated synthesis of colloidal nanocrystals in solution. The basis is a heatable reactor with efficient stirring and inert conditions during all steps of the synthesis. To obtain consistent results for the same experiment/procedure over multiple syntheses (either by simple repetition of the same conditions for one chemical system or parallel preparation of the product), the reaction conditions need to be maintained pre-cisely. Fast injection, high mixing efficiency, and fast cooling are an essential part of the preparation of colloidal nanocrystals.
