The new buildings required are a new Harbour Workshop accommodation for the Marine Institute and for the Port of Waterford An industrial building on the South Pier currently accommodates the Harbour Workshop and the Marine Institute This structure of this building is approaching the end of its life and the Marine Institute accommodation is no longer fit for purpose
