Το φυσικό αντικείμενο της παρούσας σύμβασης είναι οι εξελιγμένες υπηρεσίες προστασίας διαδικτυακών εφαρμογών και διεπαφών προγραμματισμού εφαρμογών, έναντι δυνητικών απειλών τύπου κατανεμημένης επίθεσης άρνησης υπηρεσίας και επιθέσεων σε επίπεδο εφαρμογής. Αναλυτικότερα η παρεχόμενη υπηρεσία θα πρέπει να προσφέρει ολοκληρωμένη προστασία εφαρμογών και APIs, προηγμένες δυνατότητες ανίχνευσης, μετριασμού και παρακολούθησης απειλών, καθώς και κατάλληλο περιβάλλον διαχείρισης, αναφορών, υποστήριξης και εκπαίδευσης.
