Description
Several government managers have reported a lack of consistency between resources and assignments in several areas over time. Important commonalities in this development are a significant increase in the number of appeals in several disciplines. Statutory assignments such as handling appeals will be at the cost of prevention and development. Processing appeals is important legal security assignments at the government manager. Increased entrance of appeals also leads to increased processing times in several offices, which in themselves pose a risk to legal security. In addition, the large increase means that the government manager must re-prioritise the use of resources for appeals, which is at the cost of preventive work such as supervision and guidance, and the role of competence centre and supporter for the municipalities.
