De sociale huisvestingsmaatschappij, Wonen in Limburg (kantoor Beringen), heeft in de wijk Oud Steenveld een aantal in haar patrimonium die ingrijpend en energetisch gerenoveerd dienen te worden. Het gaat om woningen die behoren tot vastgesteld bouwkundig erfgoed.
