Description
In 2026 verhuist het RIVM naar een nieuw gebouw op het Utrecht Science Park (USP). Momenteel is het instituut nog gevestigd in Bilthoven. Ter voorbereiding op deze verhuizing is een uitgebreide inventarisatie uitgevoerd naar de laboratoriumapparatuur die nodig is op de nieuwe locatie. Hierbij is onderscheid gemaakt tussen ‘generieke’ apparatuur en ‘specials’. Generieke apparatuur, waaronder ook verschillende typen microscopen, zijn via een gezamenlijk inkooptraject aangeschaft. Apparatuur wordt als generiek aangemerkt en derhalve in de aanbesteding generieke apparatuur opgenomen als wordt voldaan aan de onderstaande drie criteria: • algemeen gebruik in het lab • beschikbaarheid van meerdere aanbieders • uitwisselbaarheid zonder dat dit invloed heeft op de onderzoeksresultaten. Voor IDS-RIVM zijn twee EVOS-fluorescentiemicroscopen nodig die niet onder de generieke categorie vallen. Deze apparaten zijn essentieel voor de ontwikkeling van nieuwe onderzoeksdoelen: 1. Virusneutralisatietesten: de ontwikkeling en uitvoering van neutralisatietesten, waarbij virusdetectie plaatsvindt via immunofluorescentietechnieken.
