Description
L’objectif principal du Projet est d’accroître le taux de recyclage dans la région, de réduire la quantité de déchets plastiques et autres déchets rejetés dans les océans, et de limiter la contamination des ressources en eaux souterraines, grâce au développement d’un système de gestion des déchets solides plus durable sur le plan environnemental dans l’agglomération du Grand Libreville. Plus précisément, le Projet développera les activités de compostage, augmentera la couverture des services de collecte des déchets et favorisera la transition vers une collecte sélective. L’Assistance Technique réalisera les études complémentaires nécessaires à la mise en œuvre du Projet, notamment les études de conception détaillée, les dossiers d’appel d’offres, l’Étude d’Impact Environnemental et Social (EIES), ainsi qu’une stratégie de sensibilisation du public.
