Description
Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has an existing contract in place for the Long-Term Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of a Computer-Based Interlocking System (CBIS). As part of the DART+ Programme, IÉ is seeking to appoint an experienced contractor to the DART+ Single Supplier Framework for Design & Build Signalling & Telecoms. The appointed contractor will be responsible for the design, construction, and commissioning of all Signalling and Telecoms works, with the exception of those tasks specifically designated as the responsibility of the interlocking system OEM (Original Equipment manufacturer).For the avoidance of doubt, this framework excludes interlocking system OEM works, which will continue to be delivered under IÉ’s existing CBIS Framework. The DART+ Single Supplier Framework for Design & Build Signalling & Telecoms will include the detailed design, installation, testing and commissioning (as appropriate) of the following: • A new signalling system, including lineside signals, lineside equipment housings, train detection equipment, balise installation, point operating equipment and all associated cabling. • ETCS Level 1 train protection system, designed and provided …
