Description
Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) has a requirement to undertake a detailed review of I.E. rolling stock to establish the condition of the fleet with regards to its age and position in the maintenance cycle. IÉ Core Requirements: 1. The supplier will undertake a detailed review of I.E. rolling stock to establish the condition of the fleet with regards to its age and position in the maintenance cycle. 2. The supplier will review the fleet’s condition against the current maintenance programme and best practice. 3. The supplier will conduct a document review of the maintenance, repair and change history, regarding each fleet type. 4. The supplier will propose the exact methodology for the process and the evaluation. It is proposed two fleets should be reviewed each year over a five-year period allowing for all to be done by year 5. 5. It is proposed that a minimum of 4 trainsets per fleet will be thoroughly inspected by the supplier to support conclusions. 6.
