Description
Iarnród Éireann (Irish Rail) is inviting selected training suppliers to submit detailed proposals for the provision of core craft signalling training for the SET department. The aim of these training courses is to develop the technical proficiency and competency of our craft worker level Signalling staff responsible for the maintenance, installation, renewal, and repair of signalling equipment. IÉ will support the winning bid by providing: • Access to current applicable Irish Rail standards • Guidance on the course content • Assistance with the organisation of the training Each training session should be highly interactive and involve several training methods including discussion, group work, practical activities and problem solving as well as live training/practical activities where appropriate. The successful bidder must provide all training materials used – notes, copies of slides, overheads etc appropriate to their course. A folder or book of notes will be provided for each participant as a reference document about the subject matter of the course.
