Upphandlingen avser ramavtal för komplett system för kapselendoskopi för att, inom Region Norrbotten och under avtalstiden, kunna genomföra ca 360 tunntarmsundersökningar med denna teknik. För systemfunktionen nödvändig utrustning ska placeras på 4 av de 5 sjukhusen inom regionen och dubbletter, för ökad kapacitet, ska placeras på Sunderby respektive Gällivare sjukhus.
