Description
Grófarhús is a public library operated by the municipality of Reykjavík located in Tryggvagata 15 in the center of Reykjavík. The library will undergo major refurbishment of both the interior and exterior based on the already awarded architectural design. This tender concerns the needed engineering design and consultancy services to be coordinated with the team of architects and the owner. The scope includes the library in use of 6.205 m2 in addition to the empty extension building of 1.219 m2 for a total of 7.424 m2 . A certification with score „Excellent“ is targeted according to BREEAM‘s Refurbishment and Fitout framework. The following expertise is demanded: a) Structural design b) Piping system design c) Air ventilation system design d) Electrical system design e) BIM management f) Building physics – moisture analysis g) Evidence documenation for BREEAM-RFO certification
