The Region of Southern Denmark is facing an upcoming IT acquisition of a new dose planning system and wishes to conduct a prior market dialogue. This market dialogue regards the procurement of a dose planning system to Odense University Hospital including an option for delivery to other hospitals in the region. Odense University Hospital is the main regional hospital in The Region of Southern Denmark. A full range of radiotherapy services are offered, including intra- and extracranial stereotactic radiotherapy, mid-ventilation phase treatments, deep inspiration breathhold treatments, adaptive radiotherapy and proton therapy planning (not proton therapy delivery). In 2023, 37000 fractions in 2700 treatment courses were treated at the hospital. On a daily basis delineation and planning is handled by approximately 3 physicians (delineations), 3 radiographers (delineations and dose planning) and 3 physicists (dose planning), supplemented and assisted by a number of colleagues for independent approvals, specialist knowledge and to cover peak loads.
