The consultancy service involves investigating the case for an infrastructure investment in a large civil ground station at Aalborg University. As the ground station has the objective to strengthen Danish space research and development and be the supplier of satellite communication for the four Danish Space ESA missions (according to the Danish Space Strategy) including the Máni Mission to the Moon, it is required the consultancy company has in deep knowledge about the Danish space sector. The ambition is also to have the ground station obtained in the global ESA ESTRAC network of ground stations and position the ground station to be used in other ESA missions. Access to the ground station should also be sold for commercial activities (up to 20% of its availability). The external consultancy should develop a solid basis for the business case and investigate the socio-economic impact for Denmark and Europe of the investment. Besides, they should develop convincing pitch materials to ensure sufficient external co-funding from Danish foundations.
