Beschreibung

Programme Measures: The Project consists of the following components to be financed: • Supply of goods for municipal waste collection and transport as well as city cleanliness services (e.g. bins and containers, refuse collection vehicles, solid waste transportation vehicles, street cleaning equipment, equipment for cleaning riverbeds and beaches to avoid marine littering). • Investments into the regional solid waste management infrastructure (e.g. construction of sanitary landfills, inert landfills, transfer stations, waste treatment facilities (sorting and composting), rehabilitation/ closure of dumpsites, small scale investments in municipal infrastructure) as well as mobile operation equipment. • Implementation support, institutional and financial management support, operational support and awareness raising measures.
