Beschrijving
This assignment should include the analysis of the metabolome in an untargeted approach, including quality metrices, and data analysis (quantification and naming of metabolites + comparative analyses). Lot 1: Metabolomics analysis Untargeted metabolomics, covering at least - Non-polar and medium-polar small molecules (typically a C18 column): steroid hormones, carotenoids, fat-soluble vitamins, free fatty acids, bile acids, … - Strong-polar and strong-hydrophilic small molecules (typically an Amide column): carbohydrates, amino acids, nucleotides, organic acids, water-soluble vitamins, polyamines, compounds of the central carbon metabolism, … This starting from a 1.000.000 cell extract. Analysis includes: a) Sample extraction b) Metabolite extraction c) Compound detection and quantification via LC-MS d) Data QC e) Comparative data analysis
