Object of the supplies: Purchase, supply, installation and maintenance of a second-hand radiotherapy linear accelerator (LINAC). Explanation: The device to be purchased will have to be placed in the LNK-Building (Laboratory Nuclear Calibrations of SCK CEN). The specifications have been conceived for a second-hand device, which can provide the desired solution, subject to a competitive purchase price. The LINAC should have less than twelve years of use. The details of the equipment involved can be found in the technical provisions. The device will be used for: - Calibration of the radiotherapy ionization chambers - Megavolt (MV) imaging of waste drums - Research and development in the dosimetry, biomedical, clinical and radioactive waste fields
