Description
Sefton Council is the local authority of the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton in Merseyside, England. Sefton Council oversees and manages the delivery of highway and transport services including the development, planning and delivery of major infrastructure and maintenance schemes through a strategic transport investment programme. The Council’s strategic transport investment programme is currently delivered through both in-house resources and an existing Transport Technical Support Services (TTSS) Contract which is due to end in 2025. The Client is now looking to procure a replacement TTSS Contract which will commence in March 2026.The Council is seeking to appoint a single professional Consultant for Transport Technical Services Support to deliver high quality and cost-effective strategic transport schemes, programmes and policies for Sefton. The Council has not undertaken preliminary market engagement in accordance with Sections 16 and 17 of the Procurement Act 2023, having assessed that it was not required for the nature and scope of this procurement.
