Description
This contract contributes to the implementation of the Celebrating Cultures and Diversity theme of the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan. The Multiculturalism to Interculturalism project has 4 strands. The budget for the entire project is £949140 which is broken down per lot below. This notice for feedback is specific for Lots 1 and 2. Strand 1 (Lot 1): Community Language and Cultural Access Programme – to highlight the indigenous linguistic heritage and new languages that are present within Belfast on a cross community basis through Irish Language and Ulster Scots Heritage project and New Languages Programme. Budget £270,055 Participants = 1,110 (plus 650 wider) Duration: 3 years Strand 2 (Lot 2): Cultural Spaces Programme to increase awareness of, community capacity within and cross community engagement in the different culturally significant spaces across Belfast through inter community connected neighbourhood and city-wide venues leadership, capacity building and activities programme.
