Description
Hampshire County Council (HCC) has awarded the above named framework to undertake its large and varied programme of work involving maintenance, new build, rationalisation and refurbishment of the County Council's and its clients' built estate, met by a variety of arrangements. As part of its asset and Risk Management programme, the County Council undertakes structural inspections of the built estate on a five-year rolling programme. The programme also includes specific items such as chimneys and boiler flues over 2m high, play and boundary walls, retaining walls, lighting grids, lofts, and other hidden roof spaces. Hampshire County Council is the lead contracting authority, with the framework available for use by the following contracting authorities: Hampshire County Council, the Isle of Wight Council and Reading Borough Council. The Framework Agreement is due to commence on 1st January 2026 and will be for a period of 4 years to 31st December 2029.
