Description
The Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is exploring options to expand its Radiopharmacy Services to improve access to diagnostics, innovative treatment and research in Southwest England. Uniquely positioned on the M4/M5 corridor, the Trust has a state-of-the-art Pharmacy build intended to provide a comprehensive range of services including: 1. Cytotoxics (191 sq ft): mainly production of systemic anticancer therapy (SACT) and clinical trials for Onc/Haem 2. Monoclonal antibodies (180 sq ft): products for Biologics unit and chemo unit 3. Radiopharmacy unit (279sq ft): supply for Nuclear medicine diagnostics & treatment 4. Vacant clean room space originally intended for Gene Therapy (108 sq ft) As part of this appraisal, the Trust is evaluating a range of potential delivery and funding models, including the possibility of a Joint Venture or other form of partnership with a private sector organisation.
