Description
Free breakfast provision at schools ensure pupils start every day ready to learn, improving behaviour, attendance and attainment. For the past five years the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham has pioneered the delivery of free breakfast provision at our primary schools and nurseries. Providing schools with advice, food and funding to establish free breakfast provision. This programme currently works across 33 schools, helping them to deliver over 750,000 nutritious, hunger focused breakfast meals per year though both breakfast clubs and extended provision at the start of the school day. With the Governments national free school breakfast clubs programme starting to roll out we want to ensure that young children in our borough continue to have the best start to the school day. Continuing to support out schools, whilst integrating and enhancing the national offer. We are looking for a Breakfast Support Provider, to manage this programme from September 2026. Providing schools with expert advice, support of running breakfast provision as well as providing direct deliveries of breakfast foods to schools.
