Description
North Northamptonshire Council appointed a contractor to undertake planned and reactive maintenance works to the Four Seasons Building, School Lane, Kettering. The scope of works comprised minor building repairs, maintenance, and improvements to both the external fabric and internal areas of the property to address defects, prevent water ingress, and maintain the building in a safe and operational condition. External Works The external works included: Site establishment, access arrangements, and safety provisions. Repairs and alterations to rainwater goods, including realignment of guttering, installation of replacement downpipes, and fitting of protective guards. Clearance and maintenance of drainage outlets to ensure effective operation. Localised masonry repairs, including repointing of brickwork and stonework using appropriate lime mortar. Vegetation removal at wall interfaces and application of herbicide treatments. Application of waterproofing treatment to selected areas of external walling at low level.
