Description
BNSSG has worked with partners to successfully design, develop, test, and deliver the technical platform for a Secure Data Environment (SDE). This platform provides a controlled and compliant environment for the secure management, sharing, and analysis of sensitive data for the purposes of research. With the technical build now complete and tested, the programme was in business-as-usual phase. Which will deliver a high-quality live service to researchers throughout 26/27. To supplement existing in-house expertise, a technical partner to support the delivery of a cloud-based service and help continue to improve and develop our platform. SW-SDE covers 6 integrated care systems (including hundreds of data controllers), who are engaged through a well-established leadership board. The SW-SDE is hosted by NHS Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care Board (ICB). Allocated funding of up to £200,000 for an initial 12-month contract, with a further £200,000 available for an optional 12-month extension option which can be enacted at BNSSG ICB's discretion.
