Description
NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board (BSW ICB) are seeking to directly award their Population Health Management and Shared Care Records requirements through a direct award to their existing provider Graphnet Health Limited at the end of their current contract which is due to expire on 31st March 2026. Due to the changes in the NHS Landscape BSW ICB have taken the decision to direct award to the existing provider under the direct award justifications 7 (b) set down within Schedule 5 of the Procurement Act 2023. The ICB decision is based upon :- National Direction: The Ten Year Health Plan describes the development of a standardised national solution for this functionality during the period that would have been covered by a new contract term following a competitive procurement. National guidance advises that this should be taken into account in any procurement decisions. Mobilisation Complexity: Changing provider at this stage would involve significant complexity and lengthy resource implications.
