Description
Essex County Council (the Authority) is issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) as a Request for information (RFI), to engage with the market to gather information in order to gain a better understanding of both the capacity and the appetite of the market in delivering the proposed services, and to alert the market to a future tender opportunity. The purpose of this procurement activity is to continue the Colchester Park & Ride Service to provide a high quality, frequent bus service and an attractive alternate to driving and parking in the city centres. Additionally, to reduce air quality emissions, carbon footprint, and provide a ‘last mile’ sustainable journey for those without access to a direct bus service.
