Description
Mid Ulster District Council is seeking tenders for a contractor to develop and deliver a PEACEPLUS funded Health and Wellbeing programme for Mid Ulster District Council. The purpose of this specification is to set out the scope, minimum standards, service requirements, performance, and all other obligations that the Council requires of the Contractor when delivering this programme contract. This programme is a dedicated cross community Health and Wellbeing Programme. It will focus on promoting social inclusion and improving the mental and emotional wellbeing for disadvantaged and marginalised groups by supporting them as follows: • Tackling isolation and loneliness programme focused on developing and supporting men’s and women’s sheds concept across Mid Ulster District Council. • Disability engagement programme targeting people with learning and physical disabilities through existing groups and networks to support in a range of the following (as required): Development skills /Social networking /Civic Engagement • Building resilience for Youth programme- developing and delivering bespoke youth led programme on a cross community basis, focused on resilience of young people and tackli…
