Description
Mid Suffolk District Council is contracting for a Management Operator for three new sports facilities on the Stowmarket High School site, to maximise the potential and income from the new facilities focusing on supporting the development of sports clubs and community use. The outdoor sports areas and facilities to be made available for community use are the following • 3G pitch• Multi Use Activity Area (MUGA)• Mini Athletics Track. The facilities are located alongside Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre. The primary objective of the Sports Facilities is to provide educational, recreational, social, leisure and cultural opportunities for academy students and the community and to provide opportunities for local people and sports organisations to participate in sport and physical activity and to develop their skills, particularly among low participant groups. The operation of the Sports Facilities should achieve the following mutually desirable outcomes: The National Curriculum requirements for physical education.
