Description
Northern Trains Limited, is a Train Operating Company (TOC) that operates passenger rail services North of England. Northern Trains Limited is publishing this notice to establish a Contract for the Construction of Welfare Office Staff Accommodation. Phase 4 focuses on transforming and optimising several key areas of the depot to support future operational and staffing needs. The works is to be divided into 2 broad scopes. Firstly the existing northern locker room and toilets at the front of the depot is to be converted into a new production hub featuring a conference room, meeting rooms, a teapoint, and upgraded unisex and accessible toilet facilities. Alongside this, the DMU block will also be enhanced: the ground‐floor team leader offices will be combined into a single larger office, and new toilets will be installed on the first floor, addressing the current lack of toilet facilities in the block. Secondly, the former EMR locker room will be converted into a permanent stores space with compliant modern racking, improved access, and safer vehicle and pedestrian movement routes.
