Description
A Market Engagement Event is being held on Monday 25th November at 10:00am via MS Teams. To attend please send an email to adultscommissioningteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk by 5pm on 24th November 2024. Dorset Council would like to encourage anyone interested in providing services to unpaid carers to join the Dorset Care, Support, Housing and Community Safety Framework (DCF2), Lot 22. To be invited to bid for this opportunity you will need to have applied and been accepted on to the above Framework under Lot 22 prior to the further competition being published. Dorset Council are calling to market providers who are able to deliver services to unpaid carers including young carers who are caring for someone who is a resident of Dorset Council. Tenders from consortiums would be welcome to apply. This service will seek to prevent, reduce, and delay unpaid carers from developing their own support needs wherever possible using a strengths-based approach. Services will include the identification of carers, the carer register, information advice and guidance, support groups and training.
