Description

Northumbria University has procured the design, manufacture, delivery, installation, and commissioning of a specialized Low-Pressure Fischer-Tropsch (FT) Reactor System to support the On-site And On-demand Electrochemical Recycling Of CO2 To Make Sustainable Aviation Fuels (eCOGEN) research project. The procurement encompasses a fully integrated, lab-scale Fischer–Tropsch tubular (fixed-bed) reactor rig designed for converting synthesis gas (CO/CO2 and H2) into liquid synthetic fuels and chemical precursors under controlled low-pressure conditions. The contracted turnkey scope covers the complete reactor assembly, automated feed and dosing controls, thermal regulation and separation systems, integrated safety instrumentation and control software. The contract also encompasses all required piping and fittings, site delivery, installation, safety commissioning, user training and ongoing technical support with a 12-month warranty.
