This notice is a notification of a market engagement survey that the Department for Education (DfE) is conducting to gain insight for the procurement of a leadership and development programme for political and corporate leaders of Local Authority Children’s Services. Keeping children safe is a key priority for this government. However, local authority (LA) Children’s Social Care (CSC) and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) systems are under pressure from: • Service demand; • Workforce capacity and capability challenges; • Funding pressures • Leadership churn. This contract aims to upskill political and corporate leaders of children’s services to drive improvement in CSC and SEND LA performance through universal, targeted and intensive support offers.…
