Description
Hydrometry Framework The Coal Authority (TCA) was established by Parliament to undertake specific statutory duties, set out in the Coal Industry Act 1994, associated with licensing coal mining operations; managing property and the historic legacy arising from the ownership of the coal reserves and underground workings; settling subsidence damage claims and providing access to coal mining information. The Authority is funded by Grant-in-Aid from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ). The Authority takes pride in its achievements, quality and motivation of staff, and is focused on delivering its high level objectives sustainably. Requirement Overview As part of our work, we require the provision of Hydrometric monitoring services, and are thus seeking to appoint suppliers to a framework which will run for 4 years from August 2024. Deliverables from this Framework are to provide a service(s) to undertake Hydrometric Monitoring for the Coal Authority, at coal and metal mine sites across the UK.
